What is Therapy?

 
 

Psychotherapy is not easily described in general statements. It varies depending on the personalities of the practitioner and patient, and the particular problems you bring forward. There are many different methods a practitioner may use depending on your relationship, how you both see the problem, and potential consequences. Like anything, it takes commitment. Its okay to not know if you want to commit, or if you do not know what the problem is... that is what therapy can help define or get clarity.
