  • I offer an optional free 15 minute phone consolation prior to your first in-person session.

  • Appointments are charged per session service. My rate varies depending on service and time spent.

  • I consider being aware of time and phones a healthy boundary. Please respect the session start and end time. Please no cell phone activity during session.

  • I ask clients to be informed about their payment. Call your insurance and find out your mental health benefits. Therapy is an investment for both of us. I am currently not paneled or in-network with insurance. However, I am applying to multiple panels for the future. I can also bill your insurance as an Out of Network Provider. Out of network benefits are generally reimbursed at a percent of the full fee.

  • Payment for session is due at the time of the session unless we discuss another process. This includes full payment or copay.

  • Read and ask questions especially with Vetter Counseling paperwork.

  • I am very open to your feedback. It can be helpful for both of us even if you are choosing to end therapy.

Benefits of Private Pay Counseling

Private pay therapy provides additional confidentiality, including the added protection that any given diagnosis will not be released or deemed a preexisting condition with your insurance company. This may be particularly beneficial if you are worried about your employer finding out about you going to counseling. It also allows you to have more control over the length and focus of treatment since your treatment will not be regulated or overseen by your insurance company.
